NBA Eastern Conference Semi Finals

MVP Derrick Rose was electric Friday night in Atlanta, scoring a career-high 44 points to help the Bulls rout the Hawks 99-82 for a 2-1 lead in the Eastern Conference semifinals. He scored 17 points in the first quarter. Almost nothing that worked well for the Hawks in their 103-95 Game 1 win against the Bulls worked Friday, and much of went right for the Bulls in their 86-73 Game 2 win worked better in Philips Arena. Joakim Noah grabbed 15 rebounds and reserve Taj Gordon had 11 as the Bulls out-rebounded Atlanta 47-34 (with 18 offensive boards) to expand their edge on the boards to 105-73 in the past two games.
