Synopsis:

This is the remake of Sanjuro. Basically:
In Japan circa Eighteenth Century, nine young men decide to present an accusation of corruption in their clan to the local inspector general. However, the group is betrayed, but the ronin Sanjûrô Tsubaki saves them from the inspector general's men. The uncle of the leader of the rebel clansmen,is kidnapped, and his wife and daughter are detained and made prisoner of the sinspector general, and Sanjûrô helps the group to rescue the Uncle and his family.

Inhoud:

Tsubaki Sanjûrô is een wat nukkige eenzame krijger die een groep stuntelende samurai tegenkomt wiens leider is ontvoerd. Om hem terug te krijgen moeten ze het opnemen tegen een grote groep corrupte overheidsmensen en Sanjûrô lijkt de enige persoon die hen daarbij kan helpen.
