Drums & Organ (  Trummor & Orgel  ) is a Swedish musical duo from Uppsala , consisting of brothers Anders and Staffan Ljunggren on Hammond organ and percussion .

The duo was formed in 2003 as a side project to the band Second Glance, with the idea to bring together music styles psychedelia and jazz . Main The influence was the 60's duo Hansson & Karlsson who also based his music on percussion and organ. The working name for the project was "Drums & Organ Project" and the band has retained.

Furthermore, the band began to play out a lot, and their own way to let the took shape. The music can be described as a mix of psychedelia, jazz and Swedish folk music . In recent years they have also implicated more indie pop and electronic music in their sound. Among the artists that the band counts as his influences include, among others organist Brian Auger , the British shoegazingbandet My Bloody Valentine , British The Cure , jazz musician Count Basie , and several bands from the 90's Manchester-wave ( Charlatans , Stone Roses , etc.) and from the 60's British psychedelics ( Small Faces , Spencer Davis Group , and others).

Among the fans of the band include vocalist Ebbot Lundberg , who has also recorded some songs with the duo in which he sings. The duo went on a tour opening for Ebbots band The Soundtrack of Our Lives in 2006. The band has also collaborated on record and live with Magnus Carlson ( weeping willows ) and Peter Moren ( Peter, Bjorn and John ). The latter was included as a songwriter and guitarist on the album Departure / Arrival, released in October 2013.

The duo has made over two hundred gigs during his career and appeared in including TV4, SVT P3 Live and Country Club and is often described to be an energetic and dynamic live band.

Their discs have generally received good critics, among others got the Out of Bounds rated 4 out of 5 in prestigious MOJO Magazine and Vision was nominated for a Grammy in the category jazz.
