A nice set of vintage flamenco, the trio embellished by Anita Ramos on castanets. The spotlight is on Nino de Almaden's sobbing but not quite overwrought vocals, on a repertoire dominated by songs of disappointed romance. Most likely recorded around the 1950s (there is, as usual for Tradition CDs, no date listed), but the sound, transferred from the original stereo master tapes, is very good.
