Synopsis:

The story of events leading up to the 1980 Gwangju massacre in South Korea when thousands of 
students and protesters were killed by armed troops during an anti-government demonstration.

Inhoud:

Min-woo leidt een relatief rustig leven met zijn jongere broer. Tot de dag aanbreekt waarin de 
militaire politie demonstraties van de bevolking de kop in wil drukken. Om dit geweld tegen te 
gaan, organiseert de bevolking zich als verzetsbeweging met Min-woo als centraal figuur.
