The Best Of The Johnny Cash TV Show 1969-1971

Some of the performers on Disc Two are Carl Perkins, Roy Orbison, The Everly Brothers and Derek and the Dominos. Bill Monroe and His Blue Grass Boys are honored in the 'Country Gold' segment of the show and sing their classic, "Blue Moon of Kentucky." Conway Twitty sings his signature "Hello Darlin'" and new artist Merle Haggard talks a little with Cash about being in San Quentin before singing "No Hard Time Blues."
 Ray Charles does his own arrangement of "Ring of Fire" and Roy Orbison does "Crying." There are so many 'moments' in this project that is it impossible to share them all. It is an amazing treasure and I'm so glad it was available to share with fans. And even if you aren't a big Johnny Cash fan, just being able to see live performances from such a variety of artists is an opportunity that shouldn't be passed up.
