Gavin Friday 
Gavin FridayGavin Friday (geboren als Fionán Martin Hanvey, Dublin, 8 oktober 1959) is een Ierse zanger, componist en schilder. Hij werkt sinds 1986 als soloartiest, maar was daarvoor samen met Derek Guggi Rowan bekend als een van de twee zangers van de postpunk groep Virgin Prunes die ontstond uit de jongensclub Lypton Village, waaruit ook U2 voortkwam. Bono, Guggi en Gavin Friday zijn nog steeds goed bevriend.
