Mariana and Callie still have a tense relationship. Callie makes Mariana feel bad about letting Jesus take the blame for selling his pills. Mike asks Brandon to live with him. Stef is unhappy with this and argues with Brandon about it not being his choice. After the argument, Brandon makes the decision to move in with his dad. Meanwhile, Jude must pass an exam to get into the private school. But, when Lena saw that he almost got a 65, she changes one of his answers, so he can stay at school and with Callie. Jesus and Lexi are hiding their relationship from Mariana. They try to break things off but that's easier said than done. Callie's teacher Timothy has her writeabout guilt. At first, this is hard for her, but when Timothy describes what makes a good writer, Callie goes back a secret from her past and a mysterious name- Liam. Callie meets a guy named Wyatt (Alex Saxon), who also needed some inspiration for writing about guilt. Callie writes her secret down in her journal, but when the notebook gets moved, she blames Mariana for reading it, but Mariana denies it to Lena and Callie almost reveals that Mariana sold the pills, but stops herself. Jude saw this and tells Callie to get along better with Mariana but she shows him what she wrote about. Later Mariana privately tells Callie again that she did not read it but understands Callie's suspicion. Meanwhile Lena talks to Stef about how she can't control or pressure Brandon regarding his dad, and Stef talks with Brandon and apologizes. Brandon decides not to move in with his dad. In the end, Callie finds out that Talya read her journal when Talya suggests that Jude use the name "Liam" in a story he has to write.
