One of the most highly regarded of all Scottish folk bands the Battlefield Band formed in the early seventies and still perform regularly across Europe and the United States. This release captures the band's performance at The Winterfolk Festival in Holland on December 13, 1980. Although the bands line up has changed several times over the years key founders Brian McNeill and Alan Reid were both on board for this recording.
