Himlen falder (2009) a.k.a. When Heaven Falls

'Himlen falder' is a Danish drama about Sara who was removed from her family at age 11 and placed in foster care. Now she is 28 years old and she learns about her mothers death. Allthough she doesn't want to dig in her past she travels to her hometown to participate in the funeral and meet her older brother Danni whom she was very bonded to as a child. Sara soon learns that both Danni and her father Kjeld don't recognize her and she chooses not to reveal her identity.Her plan to see her brother and get back home to Copenhagen soon changes when she discovers that she has two little sisters. She starts to watch over her fathers house and she discovers some horrific events which take her back to her childhood...
