The day after Mariana's drunken encounter with Lexi and her parents, Jesus confronts her, only to be stopped by an annoyed Steph. At school, Wyatt questions Callie about her recent decision to change her Instagram profile from "publlic" to "private," accusing her of doing so because of Liam's comment, suggesting he knew where Callie lived. Callie blows off all of Wyatt's questions, assuring him that Liam's just an old friend. Meanwhile, Lena's job is at risk due to the Foster's dishonesty about the Morning After pill. She confronts Steph about this, but Steph fails to understand why the school board would punish Lena though Lena did nothing. After school, Wyatt and Callie have a violent encounter after Liam finds Callie waiting to go home and begins to yell at Callie, apparently due to Wyatt's rude comment via Instagram. Liam then proceeds to try to attack Callie, but is stopped when Wyatt jumps on him instead. Wyatt has to be pulled off by Brandon and Liam storms off. Callie yells at Wyatt, reminding him to stay out of it, resulting in Wyatt telling Callie that he'll "stay out of it entirely," suggesting that Callie and Wyatt are "broken-up". Brandon walks Callie home, and Callie reveals that Liam had been persuing a sexual relationship with Callie, though he was several years older than her. Liam had forced Callie to have sex with him and Sarah is in danger being in Liam's hands. Mariana meets with Ana again, with Ana asking her for some more money. Mariana tells her that she has no more money, which makes Ana remind Mariana that they are family and family does things to help eachother out. This seems to really stick with Mariana.

The following day the Rivera's show up at the Foster's residence, stating that Lexi is gone, and that she had ran away. Lena and Mrs. Rivera stay and make phone calls, while Steph and Mr. Rivera go looking for her. During the search, Mr. Rivera reveals that his wife was the one who wanted to pull Lexi out of school and that she was overreacting. During this all, Jude invites his friend Conner over to work on a school assignment, where he then reveals to Conner that he doesn't have very many personal belongings. In an effort to impress Conner, Jude makes up a wild story about their imprisoned father and his riches, though Conner sees through the deceit and tells Jude that there is no need to lie. Callie and Brandon decide that they need to inform Sarah about Liam, but Callie was feeling doubt, because anything she said about Liam ends up on her record and could land her in a group home, where there is no possible way of being adopted. Ana continues to try to reach Mariana, but Mariana has other things to do. It is revealed that Mariana is still in contact with Lexi and helped her find residence in Wyatt's foreclosed home.

Back at the house, Steph suggests that the Rivera's file a police report, to which the Rivera's are quite hesitant about. Jesus discovers that the reason is because Lexi and her parents are undocumented, illegal immigrants. Callie attempts to talk with Sarah, but Sarah has apparently been informed about Callie and dodges Callie each time. Finally, at Callie's foster group, she reveals to Sarah what Liam is planning to do with her by telling the group what she expirienced with Liam. Sarah storms out after realizing what Callie's trying to do, and when Callie tries to explain, Sarah tells Callie that Liam loves her and if Callie were to try to say anything, she's just deny it and it'd end up on Callie's record. Callie simply reminds Sarah that she was once in Sarah's footsteps, but Sarah ignores her. Mariana takes Jesus to Lexi after Jesus reveals to her that Lexi is an immigrant, and they both convince Lexi to come back home. When she does, she confronts her parents about being illegal and threatens to call the immigrant office on them herself if the try to send her away. Conner gives Jude his gaming system and Ana continues to try to come in contact with Mariana. Mariana simply ignores her and becomes friendly with Jesus once more. At the end of the episode, Callie and Brandon are seen telling Lena and Steph the truth about Liam and her story, something she'd been hiding since the first episode.
