Mariana prepares for her Quinceañera and asks Callie to take Kelsey's place in her court. Callie agrees to do so. At school, Wyatt tries to flirt with Callie and invites her to join him at a bonfire. Callie is mildly flattered but indecisive. Talya tells Callie to stay away from Brandon, threatening to expose what she read about Callie's mysterious history with Liam. Callie agrees to do so in fear of losing the Foster family. Before they leave to start Mariana's quinceanera and Jesus's 15th birthday Callie comes down the stairs and sees Brandon stare at her. Callie avoids Brandon but eventually asks him to tell Talya to chill out, and realizing Callie's fear he forces her to dance with him during the dance with Mariana and Jesus. Mariana tells Jesus she knows about the relationship and feels betrayed, but Jesus defends himself. Mariana does a "father daughter dance" with Mike. Lexi tries to talk to Mariana in the bathroom but gets the cold shoulder. Lena's mom and her have a disagreement. Lena's mom thinks that Mariana shouldn't have had this party and thinks just because she is physically Latina doesn't mean she's culturally Latina. Then she says Lena is not a "black" woman because her father is white. Lena takes offense to that. Stef makes Lena feel better. Lexi insists on leaving since Mariana doesn't want her around anymore, but Jesus stops her and says it's his birthday too. Everyone has cake and a family photo is taken, including Callie and Jude. They show a slideshow of Jesus and Mariana. During the slideshow it shows some pictures of Mariana and Lexi. Mariana smiles at her. Jude confronts Callie on her closeness with Brandon saying that they might get kicked out, but Callie says she knows not to go too far. A girl asks Jude to dance and he says sure. Brandon confronts Talya and she admits to reading Callie's journal. She wants to tell Brandon what she knows about Liam, but he doesn't want to hear it or even ask Callie about it. Brandon reveals to Callie that he dumped Talya due to her irrational hostility towards Callie. He tells Callie that he don't care what happened in her two years ago he walks up to her and leans in close to her face wanting to kiss her, causing her to run away. Brandon tries to follow her but gets sidetracked and ends up driving his somewhat drunk dad home. Callie goes to the bonfire with Wyatt. Mariana feels bad about acting selfish by not dancing with her moms and apologizes to them. Her moms disagree and say that she is wonderful. They all embrace. Lexi and Jesus talk about their relationship and kiss. After the party Mariana dances alone with Lena and Stef.
