• "A Present for Santa"
Isn't it time the jolly fat guy gets a present for a change? Dora and Boots think so, and they set out on Christmas Eve for the North Pole. They'll first have to cross the snowy mountains and an icy river before they get there. Swiper the snowman lurks, waiting to cause his special brand of mischief.• "¡Rápido Tico!"
Boots is hopped up like a jackrabbit on *** waiting for his toy fire truck to arrive. When it finally comes, the toy is missing thanks to a hole in the shipping carton. There might be a hidden message here (ship with a reputable company and always insure), but Dora and Boots are concerned only with recovering the fire truck. How it ended up on the peak of a snowy mountain (located over a crocodile lake and through a blue tunnel) is a question we'll have to save for another day.• "Quack! Quack!"
A coloring book eerily comes to life, and Dora and Boots watch as baby ducks emerge from their eggs and meet their mama. Unfortunately, a mysterious gust of wind blows the last egg several pages away, leaving the duckling to hatch into a parentless world. With a little magic apparently on loan from Blue's Clues ("Blue skidoo, we can too!"), Dora and Boots enter the coloring book's world in an attempt to lead the baby duck through the market, over the rainbow bridge, and back to the duck pond.• "School Pet"
Dora is giving Boots a tour of her classroom, and all is peachy until she notices that Mimo, the class's pet hamster, is missing. Instead of following the pellets or listening for the chewing noises (yes, I was a hamster owner as a kid), Map pinpoints the little bugger's location. Dora and Boots will need to cross a rope bridge, traverse a jungle, and enter a pyramid to bring Mimo home safe. Swiper's not such a pain in the ass when there are snakes, crocodiles, and spiders with which to contend.
