Post Description
The definitive Chuck Berry compilation. First released in 1982, with a different cover and back. The liner notes inside the gatefold indicate this was issued in 1987. Although the matrix/deadwax info reveal this was made from earlier metal parts, which have the original catalog number. I have another vinyl copy, a Sugar Hill issue made in Canada, but this one here sounds noticeably better. Check out the dynamics on Havana Moon. I've compared this to it's CD counterpart, and this is better. The CD is a littler harsher

All tracks are the original mono single mixes (although I don't believe "I Want To Be Your Driver" (from the album 'Chuck Berry In London') was released as a single)
