Cirque du Soleil (Frans voor Circus van de Zon) is een wereldwijd optredend samenwerkingsverband van groepen artiesten, opgericht in 1984 en met zijn thuisbasis in Montréal, Québec, Canada. Cirque du Soleil heeft verschillende acts verspreid over de hele wereld. Er is een aantal vaste shows in Amerika, en rondreizende shows in Amerika, Europa, Azië en Oceanië. Cirque du Soleil wordt gezien als een inspirator van circus-theater, een variant waarbij de circusacts worden gecombineerd met muziek, zang en dans. Dit circus maakt geen gebruik van dieren. De belangrijkste acts zijn jongleren, trapeze, acrobatiek en clownerie. De voorstellingen zijn imposant door het gebruik van veel kleur, licht en live muziek.
