Synopsis:

In a war-ravaged land where danger is rampant and food scarce, a young girl named Qingcheng feeds herself and her mother by pillaging the bodies of dead soldiers. One day, after finding some bread, Qingcheng pulls the boots off a hanging corpse for herself. However, it was all a trick as the "corpse" is not dead, but a boy about the same age as Qincheng. He is able to string up Qingcheng, and tells her she shouldn't steal. After Qingcheng promises to be his slave, he cuts her down and she asks if she can see his helmet. Upon receiving the helmet, she uses it to smack him on the head and flees with the bread.
The goddess tells Qingcheng that fate can change, promises can be broken, and with their love they could outrun time.

Inhoud:

Omdat de Godin van Geluk een jonge vrouw gunstig gezind was, werd zij de mooiste koninklijke bijzit in de wereld. Verwend door de koning, leefde zij in extreme weelde. Het lot vervloekte haar echter om echte liefde te kennen totdat de tijd achteruit zou vloeien en de doden weer tot leven zouden komen. Op een dag ontmoette ze een slaaf die zo oprecht verliefd op haar was, dat hij bereid was zijn leven te geven om de vloek op te heffen. Hij gebruikte zijn, bijna aan de lichtsnelheid gelijk zijnde, sprint, om de vloek op te heffen. Ze keerde terug naar het begin van haar leven en verkreeg het recht om opnieuw te kiezen.
