Episode 2 - Piccolo Teatro, Paris, FranceSending committed carnivore Gordon Ramsay into a vegetarian restaurant is like asking Dracula to step into a garlic store. But it's not just the food at Piccolo Teatro that Ramsay thinks is un désastre. This tiny bistro in Paris has hygiene standards that have dropped through the floor, a waitress with attitude, a lazy, irresponsible owner (with a foul mouth to match Ramsay's) and a chef who appears to have been smoking something from the herb pot - he's totally away with the pixies. But a few "oh la la's" (and some other ruder French expressions) later, and Ramsay's worked his magic, turning "bland boring veggie food" into "sexy, vibrant, pure indulgence". That Ramsay changes his views about "rabbit food" is amazing enough, but the outcome of this nightmare is even more startling.
